VC to lead a Team to Consortium Meetings in Gaborone, Botswana

Egerton University has been invited to participate in the Alliance for African Partnership (AAP) 2019 Engagement Meetings in Gaborone, Botswana. The events bringing together AAP Management, the Advisory Board, AAP consortium members and focal points will be held from 25th – 29th May, 2019.The objectives of these meetings are to engage the public and private sector in building partnerships in support of research for impact and increase the visibility of the AAP; to host the consortium and advisory board meetings and to showcase AAP member institutions programs and successes amongst partners and stakeholders. Egerton University will be represented by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Rose Mwonya, The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic Affairs) Prof. A. K. Kahi and the Director Marketing and Resource Mobilization Prof. Josiah Omollo. It should be noted that Egerton University is a founding member of Alliance for African Partnership and as such, its participation in these meetings will contribute significantly to its core objective of transforming lives through quality education.
