The University has not only been channeling out competent personnel but also passionate and dedicated sportsmen and women. A group of old students have come up with an annual soccer tournament aimed at bringing together alumni and students to network, have fun and get mentorship opportunities.  This Year’s edition of the event was held on Saturday 30th March, 2019 at the Main Campus in Njoro and fully funded by the alumni. In his remarks, Mr. Ashford Kimuyu of 2011B class and currently a banker with Standard Chartered Nairobi assured students that subsequent editions would bring together more alumni and corporate world to Egerton University. Mr. Kimuyu is one of the founders of this noble initiative.
