Egerton University students wins it all at the 93rd edition of Kenya Music Festivals

A delegation of 85 students flanked by their patron Dr. Gaceia and The Dean of Students office represented Egerton University in the just concluded 93rd edition of The Kenya Music Festivals hosted by Kabarak University, Nakuru County. The students emerged winners in several categories thus being the envy of many. They managed to bag eight covetable trophies in both musical pieces and recitals. As of the success they merited attend to the winners gala where they wowed music enthusiasts with their rendition of Tabu Ley Rochereau’s ‘Ibeba’. They further proceeded to the State Concert hosted by President Uhuru Kenyatta at The Nakuru State Lodge to share in song and dance. We continue to foster advancement of humanity by asking our students to explore talent at great depths. We are proud of this team. Kudos for the effort!
