The career team under the Directorate of International linkages and Career Services in partnership with the office of the Division of Academic Affairs toured schools in Vihiga and Kakamega Counties on February, 1st, and 2nd – 2020.

The team toured St. Peters’ Boys Mumias in attendance of a career fair organized by the school. They also toured Friends’ School namable and St. Marys’ Girls Mumias in a bid to market Egerton University as an institution of higher learning offering competency-based courses that transform lives.

The efforts concerted resulted in positive feedback with the students showing a desire to join Egerton University to further their education. This is among many efforts by the Division of Academic Affairs and the Directorate of International Linkages and Career Services aimed at outreach and the marketing of Egerton University as the best place for prospective students to further their studies.
